The Ohio Association of School Board Officials (OASBO) provides school business officials premier services and advocacy in a member-driven collaborative environment. Over 1100 public school business officials (SBOs) rely on OASBO as an essential resource; a source of guidance and support as they serve their districts, and as a provider of key programs and services to aid in their continuous pursuit of personal and professional growth and success. Serving public school district treasurer/CFO's, business managers, food service, transportation supervisors and support staff since 1936, OASBO views its role as a highly collaborative, caring advisor in school finance, professional development and legislative advocacy efforts.

Formed in 1986 under Ohio Revised Code Section 167 as a regional council of governments by 53 school districts, Ohio Schools Council (OSC) is managed by a governing board of nine superintendents from member districts. OSC exists for the purpose of obtaining top quality products and services at the most competitive price through cooperative purchasing. In short, saving schools dollars. Ohio Schools Council offers group purchasing programs in the areas of electricity, natural gas, insurance, commodities, and a host of other goods and services.
